- In 1995, Groupware News (GWN) appeared as the world's first blog on all things groupware ... cept we didn't call 'em blogs in those days. From 1995 until 2003, GWN was the largest publication on all things related to Lotus Notes/Domino, Microsoft Exchange and related technologies. The chief news hound/blogger of GWN is Tim Lorge. He is the founder, editor-in-chief and publisher of the GWN, the world's first independent website dedicated to IBM's Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange. Lorge recalls: "When GWN started, Domino wasn't even a product. It was the title of an awesome Genesis song, a sugar company and the name of a really bad pizza chain where, coincidentally enough, I worked during high school."
